I am seriously tired of seeing completely negative reviews for tablets because they are not 'this brand or model'. When you spend Ipad or Asus money on a tablet then you can compare but anything under $250 needs to be reviewed based on what it said it can do and exactly what it does. This Sylvania is a wonderful tablet especially for the buck. It had good ram and a nice processor so I brought the tablet for my mother: she just wanted something for games and the occasional movie. I explained to her that this tablet is resistive and not capacitive, so a stylus would be needed.It has expandable memory, Android OS 2.2, and once the tablet is connected to internet, you can enable third party apps. Which means that you can download the Amazon Application Marketplace, giving you access to tens of thousands of apps. She has lots of games and even Netflix plays with no problem, plus there is an HDMI port(a wonderful treat considering an internet set-top box will run you $50-100)which means she could hook device up to her HD TV. There is even another USB port to hook up flash drives, keyboards, or mouse. Yes the battery life is only about 3 hours with heavy internet use but it is under $100.
Overall I would give this tablet a perfect score because it delivers everything it promises.
